About the Authors:
Hemlata Vyas is EVP and Head of Procurement & Contracts at GMR Group, with over 33 years of experience in airports, energy, highways, and urban infrastructure. She is an alumnus of Delhi College of Engineering (now Delhi Technological University) and Management Development Institute (MDI) Gurgaon. With experience in managing complex and large procurements and contracts, Dr Vyas has led initiatives in AI, RPA, ERP, and contract lifecycle management adoption, driving transformation, robust governance, and digital innovation. Earlier, she has held key roles at Power Grid Corporation of India Limited and Jindal Steel and Power.
