About the Authors:

Myron A. Lipkowitz, R.P., M.D., worked for more than ten years as a retail pharmacist and was a family practitioner and allergist in Howell, New Jersey. Dr. Lipkowitz was a member of the Quality Care Committee of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology and participated in several professional research projects that studied allergy and asthma in pregnant women. He has also co-authored a book.

Tova Navarra, B.A., R.N., is a magna cum laude graduate of Seton Hall University as well as a registered nurse and former contributing editor at the American Journal of Nursing. She has published articles in the New York Times and Nursing Spectrum and has written more than 20 books. Ms. Navarra has been featured in Who's Who of American Women and Who's Who in American Nursing and currently lives in Monmouth County, New Jersey.
